Welcome to the blog’s first book tag post! I was planning to post a book tag soon, to add a different content to the blog, and a couple days ago I was tagged by Sometimes Leelynn Reads, so thank you for tagging me, Leelynn!
This tag was created by Kate from Cover to Cover book blog, so the credits go to her.
The rules are as follows:
- Thank the person who nominated you.
- Give credit to the original creator of the tag (Kate @ Cover to Cover Book Blog)
- Link back to the original post (this one!)
- Nominate other bloggers who need some cozy in their life!
- You DO NOT have to wait for a nominaton to do this tag! Nominations are optional.
- Link your post in the Master Linkey so other BookEnders can see it!
- Finally… link your posts in the comments. It’s not a rule, but I want to see them!

- Rainy days: A great cozy read while the storm is pounding away
The Bear and The Nightingale by Katherine Arden – Finding a cozy read was SO hard for me. Listen, I’m a high fantasy kind of girl. My favorite books feature assasins, epic battles, curses, and all that kind of non-cozy stuff. But… i’m trying to be more diverse with my reads. So this one is a book i’m really eager to read in the near future! Its cover definitely screams cozy, winter read.
- Thunderstorm: A book that surprised you
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I can’t think of a book that made my jaw drop as many times as this one. Not even thrillers. This one taught me that no, I don’t know what the book is really about not even if I’ve read the plot or made some theories in my mind during the first pages. I’ll actually do a whole post on this book soon, so stay tuned for it!
- Birds are chirping: A book about music
Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – Of course this is the first book that came to my mind when I read the word “music”. You wouldn’t expect to feel the music, specially rock and roll, through a book. But trust me, this one will show you it’s very possible.
- Cozy blankets: A book that never gets old
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (yes, I googled that) – I think this is one of the most reread books in the world. I’ve only read it once, but I feel like no other book deserved the spot as much as this one.
- A whole new wardrobe: A book with a beautiful cover
The Raven and The Dove by Kaitlyn Davis – I haven’t read this yet, but that’s exactly the first thing that caught my attention. I don’t know who the artist is, but that cover is such a masterpiece, and it really stands out with its bright colors.
- Baby animals: A book featuring adorable animals
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll – The characters in this book are, in its great majority, animals, most of them with a real sassy attitude that made me laugh all the way through.
- Puddles: A books with an A+ reading experience – one that was so fun to read (even if it wasn’t your favorite)
The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee – I had so much fun reading this book, with all the crazy adventures the characters get into. I can only describe it as Pirates of the Caribbean, but in a book.
Pin this post!
- Candy: Favorite book featuring a sweet, soft romance
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang – This is such a sweet book! The romance between the main characters had me swooning at all times. But not only that, The Kiss Quotient is funny and even steamy. And it’s #OwnVoices, with autism rep!
- Spring cleaning: A book you reread every year / fairly often
Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling – I’d say the two books of the series I read the most are The Philosopher’s Stone and Prisoner of Azkaban, which is my favorite. They made me feel so at home the first time I read them and they never disappoint.
- Rainbow: Your favorite LGBTQ+ book
Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuinston – This might not be a surprise to anyone as everyone and their moms read it last year. But it’s SO good, cute, funny and gives an amazingly inspiring message at the end.
- Early bird gets the worm: A favorite march/april new release you read or favorite 2020 #arc you’ve received
Bone Crier’s Moon by Kathryn Purdie – This book was released on March 7th, and I loved its magical system, the mythology and french inspired setting, as well as the characters with very distinct personalities. You can read my review of it here.
- Picnic: A go-to book that always travels with you or one that you always have on hand
Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Brontë – The funny thing is that I haven’t read this book. I never go further than chapter two or so, but I have such a little, easy-to-carry version of it that is the one I pick up when I go out.
- Declaring your Spring TBR: List three most anticipated reads for spring, and link your full TBR (if applicable!)
- The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez – This is Sloan’s story, a character that we get to see in The Friend Zone (read my review here!), by the same author. I’m really looking foward to see what happens with her after the events in the already mentioned book.
- We Set The Dark on Fire by Tehlor Kay Mejia – I’ve only heard good things of this book and it’s been recommended to me a few times already, so i’ll read it real soon.
- From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout – This one seems to be a new favorite in book twitter, so i’m really excited to get into it ASAP!
That’s all for the questions! The blogs i’ll tag will be posted on my twitter.
Have you read any of these books? What were your thoughts on them? Let’s talk in the comments!

Love the tag, might do this myself in the future. I haven’t read a good majority of the books you’ve listed here but they sound interesting. I really need to step outside of my reading comfort zone.

Alice in Wonderland is once of my favourite books, I love it. The Cheshire Cat is probably my favourite character. There’s a few books that are on my TBR, like The Bear and the Nightingale, Daisy Jones & the Six, The Raven and the Dove, and The Bone Crier’s Moon that you mentioned.
This seems like a fun tag and I might give it a go sometime 🙂

How good you liked the tag! I recently read Alice in Wonderland and had mixed thoughts about it, but the 2010 movie adaptation is one of my all time favorites. Out of all the books those I recommend the most are Daisy Jones, and Bone Crier’s Moon!

This is such a cozy tag—I loved reading your answers, Cielo 🙂! I still REALLY need to read Evelyn Hugo, and I love The Little Prince! Have you ever seen the movie, by any chance? It’s quite different from the book, but it’s still very charming 😄.
